An attempt!

There was something strange about the evening
Not that it was different from the usual
It made me think
It is something that i do seldom

What was it that made me so strong?
What was it that made me come so far along?
I have been lonely for most of the times now
What was it that changed my world around?

I never feared the darkness
Neither did I enjoy the sunshine
What was it that brought back
The sensitivity in my life.

I smile when there is no reason to smile
I cry when I see others crying
Things which did not matter have become important
The most important things are not really the same.

While the answer is right in front of me
As of now I choose to ignore it
For the simple reason that darkness becomes more dominating
After a ray of light.
